Adcade was launched in 2011 in response to a shift away from Flash animation in advertising, bringing to market a new proprietary animation programming language that wouldn't get blocked by emerging mobile ad platforms. Their first product was Adscript, a flexible language familiar to Flash users but adaptable to new technologies. In 2015 the New York company launched Epoch, an HTML5 WYSIWYG ad builder for any ad platform, including DoubleClick, Sizmek and Atlas.
