A Deal Registration system is a feature of some Original Equipment Manufacturer partner programs, wherein the OEM requires channel partners (dealer, reseller) to "register" all potential leads at the beginning of the sales process. The dealer can nurture the lead for a fixed amount of time, during which other partners aren't allowed to compete with the sale.
