FacioMetrics develops facial image analysis software for mobile applications, including augmented and virtual reality, animation, audience reaction measurement, and more. FacioMetrics began as a Carnegie Mellon University research project. The company was acquired by Facebook in 2016.
IntraFace is a mobile facial recognition application capable of real-time facial image analysis. IntraFace can detect seven different emotions in people’s faces, and can be used to track audience response to a speaker, A/B testing enrichment, focus groups, improved avatars in video games and more.
