Agencies advising on marketing strategy advise on marketing objectives, focused on how clients may increase sales by getting and keeping customers. This may involve research on the customer, the marketplace, competitors and even the product. Once a strategy is in place, a marketing plan is drawn up, which can be implemented by the agency, the client, or they may share responsibilities.
