Definition

Online forums are platforms for hosting moderated public discussions focused around a common theme or subject matter, structured so that each discussion sub-topic is a separate thread with nested replies, organized newest-first. Included in this category are message boards, bulletin boards, and other forums where members and guests pose and respond to questions, opine, debate and otherwise engage with each other.
